一、項目介紹
我校與北卡羅來納州立大學(xué)于2010年3月簽訂協(xié)議，于每年暑假在工程、物理、生物、環(huán)境等學(xué)科合作開展暑期研究實踐項目。參加項目的學(xué)生到美國北卡羅來納州立大學(xué)相關(guān)專業(yè)實驗室，在老師指導(dǎo)下進行研究與實踐工作。
二、學(xué)校介紹
北卡羅來納州立大學(xué)（North Carolina State University）成立于1887年，與北卡大學(xué)教堂山分校以及杜克大學(xué)是北卡科研三角區(qū)的三所支柱院校。北卡羅來納州立大學(xué)擁有超過500項的技術(shù)專利，在專利技術(shù)力量上排名全美第3位；學(xué)校來自產(chǎn)業(yè)界的研究資助，排名全美第7位；在公立研究型大學(xué)中，非政府資助研究經(jīng)費，排名全美第12位。在2014《美國新聞與世界報道》美國綜合大學(xué)排名中名列第106位。
三、報名條件及要求
1.我校大學(xué)三年級本科生、大學(xué)四年級保送研究生同學(xué)和全日制研究生，大學(xué)二年級相當優(yōu)秀者也可考慮；有相關(guān)項目工作經(jīng)驗者優(yōu)先。
2.GPA3.5，具有良好的英語水平和口語交流能力。
3.TOEFL:80 or higher(At least 20 in each section of listening, writing, reading and speaking)；IELTS: 6.5 or higher

http://oia.ncsu.edu/gear）了解有關(guān)項目的詳細情況，參加報名的學(xué)生應(yīng)當為NCSU所列研究實踐項目相關(guān)專業(yè)的學(xué)生。
四、項目時間：2015年7月8日-8月9日
五、項目費用：約3,200美元。包括項目費、住宿費。
六、報名方法及時間安排
2.參加項目的同學(xué)需在管理系統(tǒng)中生成“學(xué)生短期境外學(xué)習或活動備案表”，由輔導(dǎo)員及專業(yè)學(xué)院教學(xué)院長簽字（良鄉(xiāng)校區(qū)宇航、機電、機械、光電、信息、自動化、計算機、軟件、材料、化工、生命學(xué)院學(xué)生可由基礎(chǔ)教育學(xué)院副院長簽字）后在系統(tǒng)中上傳PDF版。
3.準備以下項目申請材料并掃描成PDF格式文件，報名時需上傳到報名系統(tǒng)：
（1）First Page of Passport

（5）Personal Statement (two page limit). Please indicate your research interest, explain why you have chosen a particular field of research and demonstrate your academic background related to the chosen research area, list extracurricular actives and any leadership or volunteer experiences. In this statement do not include the names of faculty you wish to study under.
?。?）List TWO faculty from the pre-approved list that match your research interests.
NOTE: We do not allow applicants to contact faculty directly in the beginning. Anyone who breaks the rule will be eliminated from the program automatically. Once students are accepted and the Program Coordinator has opened communication, then students can contact faculty.
